Not just for the iPod
I purchased this based on a recommendation. My purpose is for using it in my car, connecting a Palm Treo 650 to listen to music (and internet radio) while driving.

I have plugged the Scosche into the RCA inputs on the back of my car stereo, and connect it to 12v power (cigarette lighter). When the car starts, the Scosche powers up. When I switch my car stereo to AUX, it's ready to go.

On my Treo 650, I use Softick Audio Gateway software which adds the ability to have Stereo bluetooth (A2DP). I use Pocket Tunes for my music and Internet radio player.

The combination of Scosche, Treo 650 (with 4GB or 8GB SD card), Softick, and Pocket Tunes....is perfect! Sound quality is very good. No more messy wires, no more cassette adapter, no staticy FM modulator. Who needs an iPod nano, when you can have a phone, audio/video and Internet radio player, and wireless Bluetooth all in one?
