Pros:
Quite detailed, clear music playback.
Build quality is great, huge cast construction acts as heatsink for the woofer
These speakers do not distort
Cons:
Price for performance($600 can get you alot more if you go with rainbow, cdt etc)
mounting depth of the woofer may make door installation impossible for certain vehicles(such as mine)
Tweeter is very bright, attenuation is nessecary
Power handling sucks. While they do sound great, on numerous occasions i have smelled overheating voice coils coming from the woofer. Sounded great but apparently i was overpowering them. Using a 135wx2 orion amplifier
Tweeter terminals use tiny proprietary connecters supplied with the set, but they are very small and most likely irreplacable if lost. Soldering wires directly to the tweeter is reccomended.
Conclusion: I had an amazon gift certificate and these are about the best speakers...
